We have an Annex II Terminal Server, and I seem to be having a bit of trouble getting it to accept DCD when configured to work with modem_control. Our modems go straight into the Annex, and work well when the annex II port parameter control_lines to flow_control, but do not work when control_lines is set to modem_control. Questions: 1) has anyone else experienced this problem? My rs-232 breakout box shows DCD going high when an incoming call comes in, but when configured for modem_control, a CLI prompt is never issued. 2) If anyone has an annex II running with modems, could you please send me the port parameters for one of your ports? The Annex II looks like a good box, and I'm sure that my problems are self-induced. Thanks, John Stewart jstewart@ncs.dnd.ca
