I'm interested in what anyone would recommend for quality performance Ethernet cards in a variety of machine types. Also any info on 1) What brand and type of machines card is incompatible with 2) NetWare 286/386 shell and file server compatibility 3) Do the version 6 or 7 packet drivers for the card work ok 4) Reliablity and warrenty 8 and 16 bit BNC connect for ISA/EISA bus 8 and 16 bit 10baseT for ISA/EISA bus BNC connect for all types of Macintosh 10baseI for all types of Macintosh If you Email responces I'll post a summary. While at TELEBIT, we tested quite a few cards and settled on the Western
Digital Ethernet board for the 386SX-based NETBLAZER. This card was
found to handle the 0 wait state reliably, as well as IP traffic.
I believe this card may be available in a wide variety of platforms,
as well as a Novell solution. Good Luck!
