At my previous job, I had used a tape backup system from Palindrome
Corporation. It was definitely the best tape software for Novell I've ever
seen. It automated most of the backups, and would do automatic migration of
dormant files to tape, the whole ball of wax.
Never had any problems with it, I'd recommend it to anyone, and will
continue to use them in future exploits.....
I have no ties with Palindrome. Other than I like their equipment. They can be

They have tape backup systems from 40 meg all the way to 2.2 gigabytes.

Looking for tape backup software and tape drives for 600 nodes token-ring network with 15 Lan Manager File Server. The software should work in OS/2 or DOS preferable in OS/2. The tape I am looking for are either 8mm Drive or DAT. Highly desirable are software that support the fast search mode of DAT. Any pointer is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.....
