Not aware of Sun doing a port of LM/X.  I would think that they
are fully committed to [PC/]NFS.

There *are* implementations of LM/X being done for platforms other
than Sun that might be equal to or better than Sun...

Hmmm...

No.  But we are very interested.  In the worst case, it should be
available sometime in 1991 when the OSF ships its DCE (Distributed
Computing Environment) technology -- of which LM/X is a component.

Sun, of course, will probably not make DCE available, but third party
companies will -- in the same way Motif has been made available for
Suns.
