Help! The other day, when I didn't have much to do, I thought I'd try running the "Ring Diagnostics", which are available on the IBM 16/4 Token Ring Adapter Diagnostics Disk (for the AT-bus). Being quite bored that day, I thought I would also see how the printer option works too. Now, I have several pages of error messages, and no way to translate them into english. Does anybody know the meaning of the error messages? They are of the format: 12/20/90 14:09:27 DFIPD106I Ring error report -------> 10005A784671 000000000000 000000000100 00000000 10005A782365 12/20/90 14:09:28 DFIPD106I Ring error report -------> 10005A781FC0 000001000000 000000000000 00000000 10005A75D16E 12/20/90 14:09:28 DFIPD106I Ring error report -------> 10005A783CD8 000001000000 000000000000 00000000 10005A785501 Obviously, there's a time/date stamp on the error, and two adapter addresses, but that's about as far as I can understand. Of course, as usual, the manual quite generously mentions the existence of the Ring Diagnostics program, but doesn't go into any more detail than that. Can anyone enlighten me?
