Hello out there in dcom land.
I am new to this group so if the question is not relavent, please refer me
to the correct newsgroup.
We have just installed a campus backbone network and are having trouble with
one of the LAN cards in a PC.
LAN card: Racal Interlan model NI5210/8-10BT.
(an 8 bit card with 8K of memory using 10BaseT)
PC #1: Zenith model 159 (Intel '286)
640K base memory 384 extended.
Problem: Using Racal Interlan diagnostics, card fails diagnostics. Tried
several cards, all different combinations of settings for memory,
port, irq, etc. Nothing works. Cards work in other PC's. IBM, other
Zenith's.
Questions: Is there anyone out there who has had a similar problem and can
point me in the right direction. I am in the process of working
with the folk from Racal, but I have to fill out the wonderful
problem reports first. I can ask in this forum faster.
It may be the proverbial needle in a haystack, but it's worth a shot!

Thanks!
