I have a question or two about Novell "Create Service Connection" packets. In modifying PCRoute to act as a gateway for both IP and IPX traffic, I've run into a problem with those packets that I can't seem to figure out. Using a Network General Sniffer, I've captured the traffic on both sides of the router during the execution of NET4 on a PC. Though the packets appear identical, *some* servers won't respond to create connection requests, while others will. When these packets go through a cisco gateway, things work okay, so I'm assuming the cisco understands the packets, and writes them correctly to the other side, where servers respond. Things haven't been a complete failure though -- some servers respond to the un-altered PCRoute produced packets. Is there any quirk anyone knows about this kind of packet they'd like to share? I haven't got a lot of information -- mostly I'm just trying to make the packets look like the workstation's packets; now that they do, I have no clue as to why things aren't working... -= Eric McCall =- EMCCALL@EAGLE.WESLEYAN.EDU
