I have a mixed network of LM (os/2 based servers) and LM/X (unix based servers). The PCclients would typically use the os/2 based server as the home server. The users would then access facilities (Mainly printers) on the unix LM/X servers. The question I have is how do (and can it be done) the users who have the OS/2 based server as there home server and typically run 3com software, change there passwords on the UNIX LM/X servers. These users would NEVER normally log on to the UNIX box to change there passwords normally. Is there a way to use the NET command to do this.? (Remember they must be able to change there passwords on both the OS/2 and UNIX LM servers) Thanks in Advance Rob Logie EMAIL: logier@cheops.qld.tne.oz.au
