[comp.dcom.lans] Book request

marcr@marque.mu.edu (Marc R.) (03/09/91)

An associate with whom I work with would like to find out all about
Fiber Optic LAN goodies. He has the basic level of CPU/Mhz backwords.
(IE the 33/386 designation stands for a processor 33 and a 386 Mhz.
Asked why if a Mac has a clockrate of 680X0, why it din't outsell a '386)

Anyway, I can't turn over RFC's to him...... does anyone know of, like
Kiddie Koloring books (or similar) for the wanna-be Fiber Optic LAN MAN?
(or even basic computer books, as I am SICK AND TIRED of trying to help him
And no, I can't tell him to buzz off.)

Please E-mail any replys.
