We have serious problems with PCSA-LAN and Wordperfect Office Notify utility. This NOTIFY program is loaded in the PC and every 30 seconds (default) checks in background on the fileserver if new messages arrived in the users mailbox PC's running this NOTIFY program regularly locks-up. And many times also DOS error messages report that the Fileserver drive is not available. Some programs running in foreground cannot handle this messages. After error conditions (when the PC did not lock-up) the PCSA USE command shows several file and/ or print services in ERROR condition. Entering a Dos DIR command sometimes make the ERROR status to go away, but not always. Running the WPO NOTIFY and the ALL-IN-ONE mail NOTIFY at the same time in the PC certainly crashes the PC. WPO Notify on other LAN don't give this problems. We experience this problems on all different type of PC's. Is there any one who has experience with WP OFFICE in combination with PCSA and has suggestions for us to solve this problem.
