[comp.dcom.lans] 3Com BRouters Routing Novell IPX

patrick@theseus.ccsd.uts.edu.au (Patrick Herlihy) (03/18/91)

Now that 3Com & Novell are working closer together, does anyone from either
of those two organisations (or anyone else for that matter) have any idea
when 3Com Netbuilder series BRouters will support IPX routing?

They already support XNS Routing, so adding IPX support would seem a fairly
easy task!

Patrick,
Version 2.0 of the NETBuilder software started shipping February 22, 1991.
Version 2.0 of the software supports concurrent bridging and routing of
XNS, IPX, IP, DECNET phase IV, and OSI via IS-IS. The software is currently
available, and can be ordered with part number 3C6720B. You can contact the
3Com office in Sydney for more information.
