Well, after 2 years of running netware on ps/2 70s with 80's as servers, I am about to set up a new lab. They consists of compuad 386sx's with wd boards. I have been urged by several other net managers to use lantastic: 'it's reliable, cheaper, easier to install, and performs the same functions as netware' hmmmmm.... 20+ disks vs. 1 ??? I am skeptical. I don't use disk mirroring...Do you think I should switch? One thing I am not sure of: my current clients run packet drivers so that ipx and tcp are simultaneously under windows 3.0.. I wonder if this is possible with lantastic? /*----------- Thanks in advance... --------------------------------------+ | Peter C.
