I am trying to get SUN's PCNFS working over packet drivers. I have the package from sun.soe.clarkson.edu that is supposed to redirect PCNFS over the packet driver interface. BUT... When I install the driver, and reboot the machine, it hangs the PC. I followed the instructions and have spent some time trying to get it working, without much luck. I am using PCNFS version 3.0 and version 2 of the NFS to packet driver. In the config.sys file I have: FILES=20 DEVICE=C:\NFS\PCNFS.SYS DEVICE=C:\NFS\SOCKDRV.SYS DEVICE=C:\NFS\PKTD.SYS // this was all installed by PCNFS!! and in my autoexec.bat I have: SET TZ=PST8PDT PROMPT $P$G PATH=C:\DOS;C:\NFS I included the autoexec because it does get executed after the config.sys file is completed. The only message that I get is: Incorrect or missing CON That's it. Nothing else... I searched the source for CON hoping for a hint, but nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
