Sorry if this is a FAQ. We are looking at joining some ethernets over digital data lines. The bridges that have been offered to us don't appear to do anything in the way of compression. As we are going to be using quite low speed lines, this should be quite important. What is the state of the art in this area - surely someone must supply a bridge that does compression!?!
