My company is on the verge of joining the modern era and attaching our internal network to a commercial network. I believe the Internet should be considered as it is my idea of a network made of connections of research and educations organizations. My company is one of the larger instrumentation companies in the area of high vacu vacuum and mass flow measurement. We deal with semiconductor manufacturers and scientific reserach projects from Afganastan to White Sands. What I'd like to know, is how many of our customers, or potential customer, are out there, and is the availablity of a Internet address an advantage for a non-software company, that builds hardware towards the manufacture of computer hardware?
