I am considering purchasing some of these Xircom interfaces for connecting PC laptops to an ethernet. They connect via the parallel port. This is useful, since laptops don't have any slots for internal ethernet cards. The transmission speed, I assume, is limited to 115K bps. This should not be a problem, but I'm concerned about compatibility with PC-NFS and TOPS. Does anyone have any experience using Xircom with TOPS and/or PC-NFS?
