A pretty good source for basic info on DECnet is one of a series of
Protocol Briefs published by cisco systems; the one that you'd probably
be interested in is entitled "Routing DECnet Protocol Brief."  It has most
of the information you mentioned.  They offer a whole series of these
briefs covering all of the routing protocols they deal with, and as far as
I know they're freebies.
