I'm posting this for a friend. She can be reached at 0002621045@mcimail.com. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am trying to set up a TCP/IP network using AT-bus PCs with UB ethernet boards. I would like to confirm whether there is or is not a packet driver available for these cards. The specific cards in use are called UB NIU-PC3270 and UB PC-NIU. The first can run in either 16 or 8 bit modes, the second only in 8 bit. I have attempted to install both UB packet drivers found with the Clarkson set. The first (ubnicpc) would simply hang the machine (e.g. the command: ubnicpc 0x61 0x5 0xd8000 would cause the machine to require power cycling--I tried it with many permutations of the example arguments). The other packet driver is for the PS2, and it not surprisingly said that it couldn't find the proper hardware at the addresses given. Does anyone know of other available packet drivers or tricks to try with the ones I have?
