Thank you to all who answered my last questions regarding the
lantastic problems. I forgot that IRQ 5 was for a hard drive on
an XT. Go ahead flame me I deserve it. 8-X
So now my further adventures with an Epson Equity II as a
workstation on a Lantastic AE2 network continues. I run:
1. AE2 irq=2 iobase=340
2. ailanbio /verbose
3. redir "wksta_name" logins=2
4. etc.
The above 1-4 works fine after a power up or a reset but after a
CTRL-ALT DEL it hangs after running ailanbio but displays the
message "ailanbio installed".
I have run the individual lines in the batch file manually so I
can say for certain it hangs on the ailanbio and not on the redir
command that follows. It appears as though the ailanbio program
can't terminate properly.
Once again this is ONLY after a warm boot.
This Epson (with two hard drives c: and d:) is running
MSDOS 3.1
ae2.exe v1.17
ailanbio.exe v1.17
Am I doing something stupid? Anyone else experience this?
