I have a big problem with a LAN at our company. The LAN consists of two IBM PS/2's. One model 30 (one of the early ones) as a workstation and a model 60 as server. The server is non-dedicated and uses ELS-I and DOS 3.30. Communication takes place using ARCNET. Until recently this configuration worked just fine. But then things started to go wrong on the server. The DOS-time keeps increasing with minutes instead of seconds. However, the systime, as maintained by ELS-I, is still accurate. At all times, the DOS-time on the workstation is maintained correctly. At first we blamed the server's hardware. However, replacing all the hardware components of the model 60 several times did not fix the problem. Even with no workstation or other equipment attached, the problem remains. If you have had similar problems or if you know what's wrong with this equipment, please drop me a note. _ _/_\__ Alexander Hagen, Newtonstraat 20, NL-4532 KH Terneuzen ````-o--o- UUCP: alexhagn@neabbs.UUCP & FIDO: 2:285/1.2
