A while ago I reveived a lot of useful advice re the acquisition of a multi-port transceiver. Now I am looking to purchase a multiport repeater for our thin-net environment. I'm looking for support of somewhere between 4 and 8 nets, with a preference for mostly BNC rather than AUI connectors. I have details (and a quotation) for the DEC DEMPR and some Black Box offerings, but I'm sure that there are cheaper (and possibly better) units out there. I'd also value hearing of people's experience with these units.
