Help Me! Help Me! I think I need an SNMP Network Managemant Program that runs on an AT&T Unix host. I need to manage a bunch of little LANS remotely. Each LAN has workstations attached that are SNMP compatible. The host in each case is an 88K RISC box running AT&T System V Unix. Does anybody out there in Netland know of an SNMP Network management software package I can run on my host(s) to make queries of my workstations? What I plan to do in the environment described above is........ Dial into each host through a serial connection. Use a software package running on the host(s) to make queries of my network devices. It might be nice to have some statistic collection programs running as a background process on the host building historical data files on network statistics. You get the idea. I'm open to other ideas on how to manage these networks too. Anybody got any ideas, or products that are working for you? Thanks
