I am having trouble getting my PCrouter to start up (let alone work!). There
must be something simple that I have missed but I haven't been able to pu my
finger on it.
I've set up a 386sx with 2 x WD8013EPs with one card set for IO address 280H and
the other for 2A0H. Shared memory addresses are set for 0D0000H and 0CC000H,
respectively. When I started up the router I was told that the packet driver
configuration failed. What's strange is that I'm not using any packet drivers!
My first suspicion was that I had copied a slip- or pkt-based pcroute to
PCROUTE.EXE but after checking several times (and several times more) I have
verified that I have been copying the correct WD13WD13.EXE to PCROUTE.EXE.
I know how reliable a product PCRoute is so what have I stuffed up ?
Incidentally, the boards and machine pass all the normal diagnostics checks
that come with them. The version of PCroute is 2.2. (Is this the most recent?)
