Below is a diagram of a prototype network that we are working on.
Has anyone connected a network like this. Both side of the Unix
box, Unix<=>Dos and Unix<=>IBM are easy and off the shelf. The
problem comes when I want to connect from a PC through the Unix
machine to the IBM machine using 3270 and getting HLLAPI support.

There will be from 3 to 17 nodes on the PS/2 based network. I have tried
several solution but have intentionally not mentioned them here. I want
to get and will followup on ALL ideas. Most of the research has been
through sales and presales support.
We do have a solution working with a fileserver/gateway and a Unix based
computer but the goal is to merge the fileserver and Unix machine into
one. In this way we will be saving a file server( well in the end it will
actually be 60+ file servers)
