I recently bought a NEC PR105A printer and am having some trouble locating second source (ie reasonably cheap!) ribbons for it. Can anyone tell me if the PR105A shares its ribbon cartridge with any of the other NEC printers that are more common? The manual specifies only the PR103A ribbon cartridge, but this is not listed in any of the mail- order catalogs I've got. Any help would be greatly appreciated! -- ================================================= "The Admiral is well aware of the regulations..." ================================================= Blaine Gardner @ Evans & Sutherland {ihnp4, decvax}!decwrl!esunix!blgardne 560 Arapeen Drive Salt Lake City, Utah 84108 (801) 582-5847

Phone (503) 297-2321. This beast is around $80 and re-inks cartridge ribbons. It requires a customizing set for each type of cartridge inked. It does a fine job, although if you are sloppy like me you may get a little ink on a finger or two. I have re-inked a cartridge and run 5000 sheets past it over the past year - it still looks great, and I'm still using my first bottle of ink (It looks better than the manufacturers, by the way). -- Keith Lofstrom MS 59-316, Tektronix, PO 500, Beaverton OR 97077 (503)-627-4052
