We are trying to interface an Eikonix digitizing camera with a Multibus card set to a Sun 3/260G workstation with Vmebus using the Vmebus to Multibus adapter supplied by Sun. The Eikonix cards have been checked out and the 260 is working fine. The problem seems to be getting the correct dip switch settings on the Sun adapter. Sun is trying to help but nothing has developed yet. If you have any information about interfacing Eikonix cameras to Sun VMEbus workstations, please contact me. If you have battled the Sun Vmebus to Multibus adapter in installing a device not supported by Sun and have any information that might be useful, please contact me. Many people are depending on us to get this running asap and the adapter is the only thing not working yet. Thus, any assistance you can offer would be VERY VERY greatly appreciated.
