Right offhand, I'd guess that the USERFILE on the Unix PC side is not set up properly. Note that the menu-driven stuff for setting up the control files doesn't set up all the data you need for full operations. Make sure that the people running the Unix PC have created a valid USERFILE with valid entries for your site (or a valid default). --Lauren--
