I need to use a Multibus card in a VME chassis and I will be
purchasing a VME-Multibus adapter. What I'm concerned about
is "is Multibus Multibus" and "is VME VME" (if you get my drift).
I know the Multibus card is Multibus I. Are there any other
flavors of Multibus that I should know about, for example,
different sizes of cards?
The VME chassis can handle all three sizes of VME cards (3U, 6U, and
9U). Are there different flavors of VME?
Anything else I should know about? Thanks in advance.
I'm also interested in recommendations for sources of VME-Multibus
adapters, good or bad.
