CDC has given us a proposal to maintain our VAX 785, VAX 8600
and MicroVAX, replacing the DEC maintenance that we currently
have. The price difference is quite amazing (between 33% and 45%
savings, depending on the term, 1, 2 or 3 years), which is the
reason we're giving it serious consideration.
Does anyone have any experience with CDC maintenance for VAX'es ??
I'm sure a lot depends on the local field engineers and the local
management, but does anyone have any experiences to share ??
Any problems with overall parts availability, etc ?? Thanks.
