Is there anybody who has some experience in working with the Software Analysis Workstation from Northwest Instrument Systems Inc on a 368 machine running Unix. We use it in a 68020 Unix machine to measure system or application performance with good results. We want to use it on an 368 machine as well. From the disassembler manual I understand that the Workstation can only handle contiguous programs. This only the case with the kernel. The applications are scattered dynamicly over pages in the system. One way to solve this is to lock the application under test in memory. As i am told by the kernel experts it is not a simple job in changing the kernel for this. Has anybody had or have the same kind of problems?
