"Bob Dyland will begin recording his next albun this spring, and
he's tapped Dire Straits virtuoso Mark Knopfler to produce it.
Knopfler says he's heard Dylan's latest compositions and reports
that they're free of the born-again theme. Exact dates of the
recording sessions have yet to be determined, but they'll have
to be squeezed in around the Dire Straits world tour. Knopfler
and keyboardist Alan Clark will play on the LP; other instrumentalists
have yet to be determined.
