[comp.periphs] Priam Oldie interfacing

bbs@xenlink.UUCP (bbs) (02/17/89)

I have in my possesion an older Priam 3350 hard drive which came off a mini. It was in working order when I got the thing so I would like to use it with my Wyse AT. I have most of the docs on the drive I think it can be interfaced using a SCSI adapter of some sort. The pinouts (50 pins) seem to be that of SASI so maybe there is a chance of it working. What I need is someone who has some expertise in the interfacing of non standard drives to AT machinery. Can it be done ? What kind of problems can be

anticipated ? Since I do not have an email address replies to this newsgroup would be appreciated or sent to me directly at the address below. I also need some tech docs on some SCSI interfaces. No one in town here deal too much with SCSI therfore cannot help. So any help out there would be appreciated here also. Thanks in advance..
