I would like to format a 10 meg Miniscribe hard drive using an OMTI 5520 controller. Does anyone know how to perform this LOW LEVEL format using the OMTI 5520? You must set the jumpers on the omti board to W1,W2,W3 and W4 to 0 for a 306 cyl,4 heads or W1,W2 and W4 to 0 and W3 to 1 for a drive with 612 cyl and 2 heads. Then start DEBUG and type g=c800:6 . You don't have to set the jumpers, you can give the parameters after you start debug.
