I'm building such a beastie (and an i/f for the A500--may well be retrofittable to the A1000 since the A500's expansion connector is just the 68000 pins): T8 20 MHz w/ 256Kwordx32bit dram, 4 cycles (200 ns) and would probably like an alpha site. I'm no company, just a garage tinkerer. But i've got a C cross-compiler for it i think. how much $$ can i charge you? i think the parts will cost me $1000. plus about 10000 hours of labor, so far. My goal is to be the Steve Jobs of the home supercomputer market. (Now we just gotta convince America how much better off they'd be if they could balance their checkbooks in 18 microseconds.
