Hi, net. A friend of mine has bought, dirt cheap, an old hulk of a hard disk. It was made by Micropolis, sometime ago. The trouble is that he has absolutely no stats on the thing - no # of cylinders, # of heads, no nothing. He does have Some data - the serial numbers and model numbers of the hard drive unit and the entire case with the power supply. If anyone has seen or heard of a drive with the following numbers, please report them immediately to the nearest police station. A reward is pending. Case Model number 1263 I AA Serial number 1033009 Part number 900222-13A Hard drive Model number God Only Knows Serial number 1077 Part number 100450-063 Revision number 111 If you can recognize this unit on sight, please E-Mail to me. We need to know the capacity - number of heads/cylinders. It seems to have a 50-pin connector which we have hooked up to a SCSI interface without causing sparks, so we can assume it's SCSI, or at least close. Please help! --Frank -- ................................................................. Frank Ch.
