[comp.periphs] Integration of image

gblee@maui.cs.ucla.edu (06/14/89)

Hi! folks. Here is the second interesting problem to be solved.
We would like to scan the image from the paper(i think the scanner
will make some standard format file--something like PC-Paintbrush's) and
include these scanned image in one report with other text data(actually
from DBaseIII+). Now, what is the best way? could anybody suggest
a good word processor which can integrate both image, graphics and text?
and also a good scanner for IBM-PC? Again, my boss will remember those
who make a good suggestion, and to me, these suggestion will be a
life saver. help me....
please e-mail me to gblee@cs.ucla.edu

I have had great success using the HP Scanjet scanner and Aldus PageMaker.
