(already posted to comp.unix.wizards but I just figured out that comp.periph might be a better place for this, sorry....and my thanks to the people who have already responded) The CMU Psychology Department is considering whether we should purchase an 8mm tape drive to be attached via SCSI interface to a Sun3/160 which is an AFS fileserver (Andrew Filesystem), mainly for doing backups.
