I've lost the original posting, but there was a request for a 
Credit Card Reader.

Makes a credit card reader that plugs in to a serial port,
and also one that fits between the keyboard and terminal on certain
terminals.

I know nothing about the real performance or prices, I just saw a demo
at a computer show.
