I recently moved into an old house which has ungrounded outlets. Not knowing much about electronics I am not sure what kind of risks I am taking with my computer if I just get a three prong to two prong converter and not use a ground at all. It is a 386 machine with a 220W power supply if that matters. Do I need to be carefull in choosing a surge surpressor? What is the worst that could happen?
