Computone Intelliport-8 on a COMPAQ 386-20 (early model) Running a BBS on a computone serviced port fails to log off when the BBS session is complete. Instead the login prompt is redisplayed to the caller without dropping DTR. This same BBS program works fine on a normal (tty1A or tty2A) line. The computone port is on ttym07. I know i could check to see if the BBS is the users login shell and do an ioctl call (equivalent to stty 0) and it will disconnect. but i'm very curious as the *why* the Computone behave differrent from the standard serial port services. Anyone have any experiences in this?
