I am interested in remotely controlling 110 VAC equipment with a Unix computer. There is a company called (I think) BSR, that manufactures devices which plug into a wall socket, are controlled by an integral power-line modem, and can switch resistive and inductive loads. Can anyone in netland confirm that BSR is the correct name of this company? Can anyone tell me of other products with this functionality?
