Sony lists two interfaces on the back of their "Mass Storage Product
Line Card". Most pins are the same except:

pin Sony Interface PC Interface
     (Shugart type) (IBM Type)

1 Disk Change Reset Ground
2 Disk Change Not Connected
4 In Use Not Connected
34 Ready Disk Change

For 30 mm high drives, mp-f63w-01d and mp-f73w-01d are listed as PC
interface, other mp-f52w, mp-f53w, mp-f63w, and mp-f73w are listed as
Sony interface.

For 25.4 mm high drives, mp-f11w-l3/1 and mp-f17w-l5/1 are Sony
interface, the rest of the mp-f11w's and mp-f17w's are listed as PC
(or PS/2!?) interface.
