I've got a microvax one with an RQDX1 disk controller in it. I'm currently running off of a single RD52 disk drive. Since 30ish meg is pretty skimpy for running VMS5, I'm trying to find out if the RQDX1 disk controller can handle RD53 disks. I've got the "RQDX1 Controller Module User's Guide" here in front of me, but it doesn't mention any disks larger than an RD51, and I know the thing works with an RD52. Alternatively, does anyone know where I can get a cheap hard drive controller for the Q-bus that speaks scatter-gather? If I can get a SCSI controller, I'm saved (I've got lots of ADC4000 cards). -- Doug DeJulio dd26@andrew.cmu.edu
