Looking for VME bus cards which can generate CD-class audio I/O. 16 or more bits input at 44.1 Ksamples/sec, 16 bits output likewise. Also interested in SCSI boxes which can do the same. -Mike

[I tried mailing, but failed.] I use the MTU Digisound-16, a VME board with 16-bit AD/DA conversion at a whole mess of sampling rates, including 44.1 KHz and the computer-music standard 48. It works fine. Contact: Micro Technology Unlimited 156 Wind Chime Ct. Their board includes a DSP56000; our reasons for deciding against it are lost in the dim backward and abyss of time. Ariel has an ADDAC out for the Sparc; they were considering making the interface SCSI, but the literature I have now says Sbus.
