[comp.periphs] Scanner attachment to HP Deskjet Plus?

Does anybody sell a scanner attachment to a HP Deskjet Plus that
converts it into an image scanner? Something like thunderscan for
the Apple imagewriter is what I had in mind. Is this even possible
given the mechanics of the deskjet?
