I am currently carrying out a survey of Fax packages for Sun workstations. In response to a previous posting to the net I have now received the names of several products which seem to suit our application. A number of these systems originate in the U.S. and the firms have no dealers in the U.K. preventing us from examining the systems, other than on paper. I would therefore be interested in the opinions/experiences of users who may be able to provide me with an independent view of these systems. The systems we are currently interested in are: S-FAX............by Systems & Telecoms UNIFAX...........by Faxxis International Inc. ISOFAX...........by The Bristol Group Ltd. INTERFAX.........by V-Systems Inc FAXMODEM 9600....by Perfect Byte Inc. FAXLINK..........by Link Solutions Ltd. I am also interested in the Hayes/JTFAX9600 fax modem, Data & Control Equipments FAXBOX, Everex 2496 Faxmodem, and the Asherfax 96 modem, as a number of the fax systems make use of these modems.
