[comp.periphs] Correspondent Wanted

seaweed@ucscb.ucsc.edu (71218000) (10/03/90)

Hello, all. I have a friend who would like to discuss various topics,
but doesn't have access to the net. Let him speak for himself:

If you would like to correspond with the person about the above topics (or
anything related) write to:

ucscc.ucsc.edu!blzrzn!jack

disclaimer: don't write to me; I don't know anything about this stuff.

My apologies; in previous message concerning correspondent wanted about
peripherals, video, etc, I mistyped the address. The correct address to
write to if you want to correspond with this person about these things
is:

ucscc.ucsc.edu!blznrzn!jack
^ left out this 'n' last time. oops.

Hmmm... Have you heard of the video toaster?

Actually, I've seen 24 bit video done in real-time off of a CDC Wren
disk at NTSC resolutions. 30 fps. It looked damned good. It was
done using an Amiga and DCTV (Digital Creations TV). Have
a look at some of the graphics stuff for the Amiga and you'll be amazed.
