We are looking for a graphics peripheral which I would call a "dumb slate", that is, a notebook-sized flat display screen which one can write on with a stylus. I say "dumb" because we are not looking for a system which includes optical character recognition. We just need to display images and capture positions or strokes. The display should be at least 800 by 600 pixels, color if possible. The device should be able to capture handwriting as a graphics image. (In other words we're searching for an electronic piece of paper). At this point matters of what type of machine we're connecting to, how this connection is made, ... are all flexible. Please mail any information to me at: mikes @ sylow.mscs.mu.edu Thanks! Michael Slattery - Dept. of Math., Stat., and Comp. Sci. Marquette Univ., Milwaukee WI 53233
