[comp.periphs] CD ROMs and business

sec0770@cec2.wustl.edu (Nero the Caterpillar) (12/06/90)

I have to work on a report on how a technology has affected business and
have chosen to go into depth on CD ROMS. What I'd like to know is where
on the net I could get people to tell me what sort of successes this
technology has had. Is this technology going to completely replace
tapes and magnetic disks? Is it being used a lot for archives or will
it be used as a replacement for reference books at libraries?

Please email questions, comments, where I should go (i mean what other
newsgroup, if any) to...

sec0770@cec2.wustl.edu

thanks for your help,
