[comp.periphs] need info on HP ThinkJet

jsdph@acad3.alaska.edu (HARRIS DENNIS P) (01/13/91)

I need to find the DIP switch information for a *serial* HP
ThinkJet printer, model HP 2225D. I've been able to find the
manual for the parallel version, but it only includes 1 of the 2
DIP switches. That switch sets the printer mode, and I believe
the second one sets the baud rate and parity, and perhaps the
protocol for the serial port.

My eternal gratitude to whoever sends me a copy of the switch
table.

I'd settle for a beer if I ever make it to Alaska :-)

I hope this helps. If you need more information, let me know.
As always, HP pays people to provide official information. I am
not one of them. This is provided without warantee, see Mom
with any problems.
